Dianah sounds like a nice time on Tues

Did the cooking before church, came home after church fairly briefly then returned to help with the concert

Went well, had a local jazz group that had been there before.  More than 50 people showed up, largest turnout yet, and most stayed for the reception afterwards.  Was at church a couple hours with both the setup and the cleanup

After church was fairly quiet, exercised and relaxed

Today nothing unusual planned, just laundry and exercise

Very cold today, will only get up to 10

Good morning.

Day off today.  Got up to feed the dogs and went back to bed and slept about another 2.5 hours. Feeling rested after working the weekend.  

I laid low but read your posts.

Stars, 14 times!  Ugh...

I got some of the Saturday Night Live Special and thought a couple of the skits were unfunny and Adam Sandler singing was like nails on a chalkboard cringe.  Wound up not watching all of it.

Nothing exciting going on here.  Cooler but still nice in the 60's.  Hope to wash my car and get to the gym.

I really wanted to watch the SNL show last night, but it's kind of a good thing I didn't remember it was on; I would've had to watch it with constant interruptions, and possibly have to "EXPLAIN" so many of the skits to Nannie and she would've hated it and I would've....well, you know. 

So it ended up being 18 trips to the bathroom and still NOTHING happened. ARGH! So I hope and pray Nannie's ____ ____ bowels move while she is at daycare! 

So, at 8:15 AM I woke up to SiL's text for me to let  her in the back door because I didn't get up and unlock it ahead of time like I ordinarily try to do. I told her about Nannie's multiple trips to the bathroom last night, and then I went back to bed and slept 3 more hours. I woke up reluctantly and had some coffee and perused the headlines, and now I should get up, get dressed and be on about my biznezz. I still feel like I could go back to sleep, though.

Okay, well, regardless of what I wish and want, I have to pick up the Nannie person from daycare in 4 hours, so I have to do at least a few of the things on my list before that. Doing errands is NOT being off-duty. I need a long day, no,, MANY days worth of a REST-CURE!!

You should schedule a short vacation and pack up Momo for a few days at a BNB or something.

Joe, the jazz concert sounds like it was a hit. 

The computers were slow at work today and it took a long time to get done the few catching-up things I did get done. Met my recently reacquanited high school friend for lunch and had a dentist appointment that was originally scheduled for tomorrow. The temp is supposed to drop to single digits (digit?) tomorrow evening and there may be some icy precipitation during the day so the dentist's office called to ask if I wanted to come today when they had a cancelation. 

The eye surgeon and the GI doctors who do scopes at the hospital have canceled their procedures for Tues and Wed. Winter weather that would barely get any attention back in the Midwest can be a big deal here.

Yup "they" say we are expecting either rain, rain and snow mix, or.....WHO KNOWS! We are right on the edge of the weather map, where it could be either kind of precipitation, and depending on the temp, there may be icing.....or NOT! The roads were all brined yesterday, so the town is prepared. Nannie will not be going to daycare tomorrow, but will go on Friday instead. And she has a dentist appointment that was moved from tomorrow to today, because of the weather report for tomorrow. BiL will be over in a short while to pick her up. Not sure where the dentist's office is, nor how long the appointment will take, but I am happy to have her gone for even an hour.

Of course there are dishes to wash, and laundry to wash .... and a bunch of little etcetera chores which I may or may not attend to. Other than that, I dunno.
