Hi All,
I am thinking of going back to school for my nursing degree something I put on hold years ago. I am 36 year old mother of 4 and a wife. I also work full time. I am in the medical field now. However, I deal with the insurances aspect of things and I am a MA. I would continue to work and go to school in the evening. Has anyone gone to the County College of Morris In NJ program ? If so how is it ? Also any moms my age similar situation back in nursing school? How is you're journey coming along?

My mother went to nursing school when she was 35. I was the oldest child. I guess it was something that she dreamed of doing for years. It worked out good for her, but it didn't for me. Just a perspective from a kids point of view.

Sounds like most women that were in my nursing class. Most ranged from 25 to 40ish. Don't let your strengths hold you back- go for it!

I was around your age when I started my pre-requisites. I graduated with my first nursing degree at 41. Your age has very little to do with this at this point in your life. It will be more about will, determination, grit and time management. Good luck!
