Sadly, these parents get away with this more than we really want to know. I think their paretal rights should all be removed as soon as it is determined that the charges are true. No child should suffer in this way!! :devil:

'Munchausen's syndrome by proxy is now picked up very quickly. The second time a child is admitted for Fever of unknow origin, they are usually put in a monitored room. Just as well as a baby who stops breathing just in front of the mother and no one else.

All these mothers want is for the staff to tell her what a good mother she is. She wants their empathy and reinforced by how much they "suffer" for their child.

There has to be some sort of help that these people can seek. I believe it can affect the father sometimes too because there was a story about the father suffucating the baby then doing CPR. Just like any other type of bad abuse, they should be required to seek some sort of help to have there children, but that is just my opinion.
