Molloy College spring 2019 nursing program

Hello everyone, I just wanted to start a thread for anyone who applied for spring 2019 second degree accelerated nursing program at Molloy College. I did my application online on July 7th. My cumulative GPA for my bachelor is a 3.6..I've been reading past threads in regards to the program. I hope to receive a letter to take the maths and English test. Has anyone applied? If yes how's your process going?

Hey! I applied for the Spring Semester to just a few days ago. So I'm just waiting to see what happens. Did you apply for the dual degree program?

Yes I applied for the dual degree program. I called the school and I was told that they would start reviewing application by sept/ oct. Do you know anything about the program ?

I applied for the regular BSN program, thinking that I didn't make the cut for my GPA since my undergraduate GPA was so low. But I took my prereqs at another college, so my post bacc GPA is like 3.389. From what I'm reading on other threads the programs takes roughly 2.5 years to complete. Maybe if i do make the cut I could switch over to the Dual Degree program.

You would definitely make the cut. The program from what I've read is not that difficult to get into. Once u have the required GPA you should be fine. Keep me posted once you get ur letter. I think if you get a letter stating that you have to take the maths and English exam you automatically got in.

Ok :) I definitely will keep you updated. I spoke with one of the admissions reps a few days ago to see if I make the cut for the dual program so just waiting to hear back from her. She's going to calculate my gpa from my unoffical transcripts and see.

That sucks .. but u can still get into the traditional four years program right.

Yeah I'm good for that program since I'm second degree student I won't have much classes left other then the nursing courses

Hello! I just received a letter in the mail that the school received all my documents, but nothing about a test date for the Math Screening or Nelson Denny exams yet. How about anyone else?
