Molloy College spring 2019 nursing program

Hello everyone, I just wanted to start a thread for anyone who applied for spring 2019 second degree accelerated nursing program at Molloy College. I did my application online on July 7th. My cumulative GPA for my bachelor is a 3.6..I've been reading past threads in regards to the program. I hope to receive a letter to take the maths and English test. Has anyone applied? If yes how's your process going?

Sociology, AP 1 & 2, microbiology, organic chem, nutrition, chemistry if you didnt take in hs

I deferred my application until fall wven though I was accepted this semester. Was too much money to pay for just pre reqs that I can get cheaper at a community college. Make sure you check molloys website for what's accepted in their program and send email to admissions to double check.

you cannot take any nursing courses without the pre reqs done so keep that in mind also. The only one you can skip is nutrition and take that with your nursing classes

They told me I needed a bunch of other classes like gym and art. I haven't heard anything back since September but luckily I was accepted into Nassau's nursing program which was my first choice anyway.

@FutureNP8178 i know you posted this about a year ago but i was wondering what happened with Molloy! My transcript is not the best and I do not think ill make the cut for the accelerated/dual degree program. I was thinking of doing the traditional 4 year but since i already have a bachelors degree in health science, it would take me maybe 2 years of just nursing class. lmk what you wind up doing bc i really need some guidance on what to do lol! thanks :)

Next semester I'll be taking

Child development

Spanish 101

Sociology

Intro to statistics

I really want to transfer to Molloy's nursing program but I just wanted some advice on what other classes I should take and the process because I don't have any degrees as of now but I really want to trasnfer
