Molloy College Fall 2021 Accelerated Second Degree Program

Hi everyone! Just wanted to start a thread for Molloy's Fall 2021 Accelerated/Dual Degree Program since I haven't seen one yet!

Does anyone know the start date of the program?

Hi guys!! I just got accepted yesterday but still waiting for some answers from other programs to make my decision. Does anybody know the total cost of the program?

Hi! So I called molloy yesterday wondering about when the program starts and costs and all that. They said program starts after Labor Day, I believe September 8th and the cost per year is around 31,000 without financial aid.

So the total cost of the program would be around $62,000, right?

Yes, that’s what I got from that! Plus there are probably some extra fees for other little things but I’m not entirely sure!

Does anyone know if there are any other groups on facebook or anything for accelerated nursing students at Molloy?

Hey! I'm thinking of applying to the Dual Program next year do you guys know what the deadlines were for this year because I can't find them anywhere. Molloy's website is not very helpful ?

hey everyone - I just received an acceptance today from Molloy for the Fall 2021 ABSN program. I applied to a few schools and wasn't actually expecting to hear back from them so quickly, but am glad that I got into a school at all! I also am waiting to hear back from SUNY Downstate and NYU like some others, but haven't heard any decisions from them just yet. 

if it's helpful my stats are:

science GPA: 3.9

overall GPA: 3.15 (blah, stupid undergrad years - I was working 40 hours a week during school and that wasn't so easy, but I explained it a little in my statements.) 

TEAS scores: 89.3 overall with a 100 in math and 85 in science and reading.

I have a previous bachelor's in Anthropology from 2013, so those undergrad grades were old and I've trended upwards. but I'm currently a customer service manager at my company in Manhattan where I've been for about 6 years now.

Always been a dream of mine to transition to working in healthcare, so I am really happy to at least have an option for an ABSN starting this year. maybe there is a chance I get in elsewhere because Downstate would be ideal given I live in BK. anyway, maybe I will get to meet some of you if we attend together at Molloy! congrats on getting accepted to all who have and good luck to anyone waiting on their decisions ?

Hi! I think we've both been posting on the SUNY downstate forum! I'm still waiting to hear from both schools, but my Molloy app was literally just accepted because they were waiting for a transcript ? but wanted to say Hi because I recognized your name ?
