Molloy Accelerated Program spring 2020

Hi i applied to the accelerated program in June for the January session and every time i talk to someone from admissions i get different answers so I wanted to create a thread to see if anyone else was applying!? Graduated may 2019 with a health science degree and a 3.3 gpa i took the nelson denny and math screening already and I was wondering if anyone heard back yet bc ive been anxiously waiting for a decision for a month and a half now!

Yes. When I called last week they said I’d hear back this week. But I’ve been told that for over a month now so idk what’s true anymore.

The response date on the acceptance I received was nov 22. They are most likely waiting to see how many spots are left in the program.

I know the date the students who were previously accepted had to decide by last Friday so they’re probably seeing who declined and sending out another round of acceptances.

I am still waiting. I took my tests on Nov. 6th. I know someone who took the tests on the same day as me (and failed the math) got their acceptance letter already. When I called, they told me that they are still sending letters out now and to be on the lookout.

Got my acceptance letter in the mail today. I took the math on the 6th and the Nelson Denny on the 12th of Nov. The response date on the acceptance letter is December 20.

Got my acceptance letter in the mail today for the dual degree program. I took the math screening test towards the end of November. I have a 3.07 GPA and a 98th percentile TEAS score. Looking forward to interviewing with the financial aid office!

I applied to Molloy in October 2020. I received my acceptance the 2nd week of December 2020. I read everything in the packet and wrote down all my questions. Then Monday morning I went to admissions and asked them everything. There are alot of changes. They also appreciated that I was ready with my questions. I have to take both the math and the Nelson on Monday, so I really dont have time to study. Come September 2020, they will only accept teas scores. I took everything at Suffolk Community College (3.9 GPA) and I am a LPN. All I have to take is chemistry and the nursing classes. I dont know how long it will take, that's not really important to me. I'm more concerned with passing and working full time.??

I’m taking the math test as well on monday and i’m scared for it, i haven’t started studying because of all the finals that are going on right now but i need to study over the weekend.

Dont be scared, the worst is taking a extra math class. I'm studying but I'm not stressing it. Just try your best.

Does anyone know how long the program is? currently im at sccc and im finishing up micro right now. I just got accepted this week and I have a meeting with financial aid coming up. I have a bachelor's already so im not sure if i should defer to wait and see if i get into sccc especially if it will be the same time frame.

Has anyone taken the math screening yet? is it similar to the sample questions the website shows or is it harder?
