Hi i applied to the accelerated program in June for the January session and every time i talk to someone from admissions i get different answers so I wanted to create a thread to see if anyone else was applying!? Graduated may 2019 with a health science degree and a 3.3 gpa i took the nelson denny and math screening already and I was wondering if anyone heard back yet bc ive been anxiously waiting for a decision for a month and a half now!

I have read from past years that acceptances usually go out mid October!

Hi all! I applied on July 31st and took the Nelson Denny and math screenings in mid August. I got a letter that I was accepted September 3rd. I have had my meeting with financial aid and sent in my deposit. Have not heard much since.

Is it still possible to get in the DNU if you fail the Nelson Denny exam, but you passed the math??

As far as I know it is, but you’d have to take an English class.

Ok thanks. So I won’t be able to take Nursing class unless I pass the English class or can I Still take some nursing classes while taking the English class??

Has anyone received a letter? I took both placement exams on October 8th, got a 16 on the ND and passed the math. Have not heard anything since.

I took my math and english screening test around september and recently got accepted! i think for those who took their tests recently would have to wait a little bit. good luck to you all, i hope i hear good news from the rest of ya!

I just applied again to spring 2020, i got accepted in the fall 2019 but i didn't go. im planning on spring 2020, hopefully i get in! i need to take the math and english test are they hard?

Does anyone know of anybody who was accepted even though they failed the math exam?

The website says that failing the math exam has no bearing on acceptance, and everyone in admissions says that too, but I'm worried.

Someone i know from last year failed her math screening but had to take it the winter before starting nursing classes. (Its a 7-10 day class)

Hello,

did anyone apply online .. and notice they were accepted / rejected on the online portal before the actual letter in the mail

Hey, is anyone still waiting to hear back for spring 2020?
