I have been accepted to Mount Marty and have been assigned to Rapid City for clinicals. I’m wondering if any current students have any information about the Rapid City clinical site. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi! I also got into Mount Marty and will be in rapid city for clinical. I don’t really know much about rapid city. Im from Oregon. But I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and getting started!

I haven’t heard anything yet either ? I requested Sioux Falls, Sioux City, or Yankton. Has anyone been accepted for one of those primary sites yet?

I got in too and got Rapid City for my clinical site as well! Would love to connect with everyone else who has been accepted but the facebook link isn’t working for me. Can someone send a new link?

For everyone who hasn’t heard back, don’t give up! I know people get in off the wait list every year. Lots of other schools out there as well. was rejected from one before getting into Mount Marty.

I’ve done a travel assignment in Rapid City and I absolutely LOVE monument health. I got accepted to Mount Marty as well with Rapid City as my clinical site, but I also got accepted to a school in Florida, so I’m having a hard time choosing between the two. I’m leaning towards FGCU though. Rapid City is very close to Mount Rushmore. The black hills are gorgeous with a ton of fun hiking to do. There are so many touristy things to do, especially during the Summer. There’s a fun town not too far from Rapid City called Deadwood which is like an old western saloon style Las Vegas (SO MUCH FUN!). The people are extremely nice and very helpful. Downtown life is active and the food is delicious. Rapid City is definitely a gem which is what’s making my decision very difficult.

I emailed the school to see when we would hear about the next wave, and this is what she responded. 
 

All of our invites for the 2nd round have been sent. Depending on the responses we receive there may be a 3rd round sent. That will be a decision for the Admissions Committee. At this point, I don't have direction from the Admissions Committee on dates for alternate or decline letters.
