This is worthwhile reading for a number of reasons. Check it out when you have some downtown.

Wow! The report came out to 172 pages!
I hope that the people that this facility serves are able to find decent healthcare that will not break the taxpayers bank.

Isn't this the place where the female pt died on the floor in the ER Triage area? I think the place should be emptied, and welded shut, never to be used again as a hospital. That place is more of a danger to the public than a help!

The truth be told is that this patient did not die in the er waiting room or the hospital at all, the patient had a warrent out for her arrest and the LAPD handcuffed her and placed her in their car where she died as they were leaving the parking area. I know this to be the truth as the MD that witnessed the LAPD taking this patient to their car was in the parking area as they placed her in their car. Now the truth is the city never wanted this hospital there the government placed that hospital in that area to serve those needing patients, now the city will bulid the condo's that they have always wanted. The patients that needed that hospital will now die on their way to another hosp. 45-60 mins away. This hosp. served the area that needed this hospital the most. I do not approve of the pt laying out on the floor of the waiting room and people walking right over her to clean or step over her, everyone that was there that day was guilty of inhumanity of that pt. I think we will be seeing more er's and hospital's closing due to the abuse of the medical system in this country, but that is another subject. Jo

It was still better than nothing at all
some kind of ER to take the poor is better than no ER at all
