Mission College LVN to RN

So tomorrow is the deadline to get acceptance letters for Mission College's LVN to RN has anyone got a letter of rejection, acceptance, anything? I am going to go crazy. I emailed Anita and I called her...no answer. I am so scared!!

Congrats! Did you check the postmark to see if it was really mailed out on the 19th? Haha. My packet from Los Medanos was supposedly sent out Thursday too, and I received it yesterday but another girl on allnurses said her packet was postmarked for YESTERDAY. Shows how honest staff can be.

I didn't even think to apply to Los Medanos. Ugh. To late now.

I just got home, and read my letter! I got accepted! I've been trying to get into Mission for the past 3-4 years....seems so surreal. Good luck to you girls. I need to have a serious talk with my husband tonight to figure things out. If I do decline, there will be an open spot for someone!

When was the letter postmarked?

Nothing. And that means that I am going to have to wait until next week to see whether or not I got in because my letters go to my parent's house. FML

It was postmarked June 24th and mailed from san francisco.... weird right ??!! Hang in there ladies! Should get something by tomorrow, if not I would call the office again ...

Maybe ask your parents to look out for your letter? Sorry I know it must be really frustrating!

Got my acceptance letter today! Now I need to figure out my options... it's looking more like Los Medanos for me, so that would free up another seat!

Oh no! So sorry! At least you still have your number 1 waitlist spot so it's really only a matter of time! What are you guys doing as far as financial aid goes? I was banking on Private Loans to help me with my living expenses, but turns out Sallie Mae and other lenders don't work with LMC or Mission =( I'm kinda freaking out, I hope I qualify for more Stafford loans, but with all my units and current Stafford loans I don't have many options. I can't work during the nursing program!
