So tomorrow is the deadline to get acceptance letters for Mission College's LVN to RN has anyone got a letter of rejection, acceptance, anything? I am going to go crazy. I emailed Anita and I called her...no answer. I am so scared!!

I am in the same exact boat as you. Two kids, away from my significant other. But here in Chico daycare is super cheap. If I move home it will be expensive because our parents all work.

Awwwwww it'll be hard, but in the end things will work out, they always do. Good luck to you and your decision. Hope we hear from Mission soon...:nurse:

I have not heard anything. This is starting to annoy me a bit.

Nothing on my end, either. At least put a notice on the website. Application period ended in FEBRUARY. I can understand if they're waiting on funding, but it's not fair to people who are trying to figure out their life situation!

And they suck at responding to emails. You cannot tell someone who to contact with questions if the person does not contact back. This is annoying. I have been trying to get a hold of her since May.

Thanks! You got in to another school too right? Congrats to you as well. Is your friend here on all allnurses? I wanted to know if she could give me any tips for Fresno. Thanks! I'm home sick today...so I'm just waiting for the mail, mine doesn't get here until 5 though....

I'm not sure if she's on allnurses. I'll ask and get back to ya!

OMG somebody please tell me they got something???? Or any new updates?! This IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!! I just got home from work and nothing in the mail :madface:

hi guys! i am also an applicant for the lvn to rn @ mission. I read your posts so i thought ill join in. I called Anita on friday 6/20/14 and she said that the department will start sending mails that day (6/20). I went to LA for the weekend and came back just now (Sunday afternoon) I was expecting a letter but haven't got anything yet..;(

So I just called AGAIN and the "new" voicemail states that acceptance letters were mailed out June 19th, yeah riiiiiiiiiiiiiight.......what is going on with them in that dept?! We should've received something already if letters were mailed out either date.....

I just got home, and read my letter! I got accepted! I've been trying to get into Mission for the past 3-4 years....seems so surreal. Good luck to you girls. I need to have a serious talk with my husband tonight to figure things out. If I do decline, there will be an open spot for someone!
