As the above poster stated, getting into CRNA school right now is extremely competitive. There are not a whole lot of schools that offer the CRNA degree, and that conflicts with the herendous amount of nurse's that are applying to those programs.
But I wouldn't completely throw out the idea. With a little hard work, you could definitely boost up your G.P.A. throughout your nursing program. Also, there are quite a few NP programs throughout the country and chances are that you could definitely get into some program without too much hassle.

I have just finished my first semester of Nursing School at University of Miami with a 3.025 and my overall is around 3.1-3.2 and I'm worried I'm not goint to get into graduate school. I want to know if there are any graduate programs (NP or CRNA) out there that require a gpa lower than 3.0 and a GRE under 1000. I really wanted to go for CRNA but it looks like I'm not going to get in. I have seen other people how settled for NP instead of CRNA and regretted it. I just don't see the point in spending (3000/credit excluding financial aid) to raise my GPA and then I don't get in. Does anyone know if I could retake a class over a cheaper instituition and have it transfer. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
