That's awesome!! So nice to hear from you!! I do think that most interviews are via Zoom these days. I am glad you got your recc!! Not sure when they start interviews here at all. Good luck to you and keep in touch.

Hi there - I got excited when I read your post and called the school ... they said that we wouldn’t hear till Jan and interviews should be in February ....

I don't do charge but am a preceptor on my unit. I took PALS on my own prior to applying. I didn't have the greatest overall GPA from undergrad (3.2) and an even worse science GPA. But I retook 3 science courses and got a As in all of them (orgo, A&P 1 and 2). They noted concerns about my poor undergrad grades but liked my retakes. I was a bad student, I skipped a lot, never thought I'd go back to school, did the minimum to get by. Definitely in a much better place now.
I've been rejected by other schools and not even granted an interview. I do feel MSA does a good job at looking at the candidate as a whole. If they solely went off grades, I wouldn't have even been granted an interview.
Do you have any recommendations for schools? I want to retake my science classes. I also had a hectic undergrad life. Trying to prepare myself to apply to school in the next year.
Congratulations to everyone accepted!

Check out Doane University out of Nebraska. They offer condensed (shortened) fully online classes that are manageable. You can get an entire semester course done in 8 weeks. It does require time commitment and I wouldn't recommend doing more than 1 class at a time but it's a good way to get several classes done in a shorter amount of time. I retook 2 classes there and found them each manageable while working full time(plus overtime) straight nights.

Hello!
I took an online medical biochemistry course out of the UNE. They have lots of online courses that are relatively cheap and it’s on a rolling basis, so a class starts around every 2 weeks.
I’ve also taken classes at Winona State online since that is near me. Depending on if you are in MN those are pretty cheap as well. It can be a little competitive to get into to some of their grad classes because they are the same ones the NP Program students have to take. I took an graduate Advanced Pathophysiology course and then I’m taking a Grad Stats course this Spring through Winona. Both online. Hope that helps!
Here is a list of good classes to take at Winona State:
