Milliunit to min?

My class is having to do case studies on the Evolve program. We haven't covered anything similar to this in class. I have never even seen mu/min before. Can anyone explain to me how to do this?

After the nurse establishes IV placement, she collects a bag of D5LR for the oxytocin (Pitocin), which is available in 20 units in 1000 cc D5LR. The order from the health care provider is oxytocin (Pitocin) 2 mu/min to augment labor. Calculate the following drip rate for the oxytocin (Pitocin). (Enter the numerical value only. If rounding is required, round to the whole number.)

I am not looking for just the answer or somebody to do my homework for me. I just want an explanation on how to find the answer.

Thanks.

I would start by converting the units to mu.20 u is 20 000 mu.In 1000ml bag that works out to 20mu/ml. 2mu/min would be 0.1ml/min or 6 mls/hour.

Ok great. Thank you.
