Perhaps some other country will take pity on us and invade the US and overthrow the healthcare system.

A chiropractor in our area got so sick of insurnce companies, medicaid, workers comp companies etc that he started a new policy. 10.00 a visit, no insurance accepted. He has a sign in his waiting room tha says "if you have insurance please keep it to yourself" He was interviewed in the local paper and said he figured by getting rid of the insurance billers, transcribers and office people, financially he was coming out about the same profitwise, with none of the insurance red tape hassles. He is very popular. I keep waiting for an MD to come up with the same idea. I bet it would work.

Have no medical insurance while out of work. Meds are costing a fortune. Doc is cutting me a break. Giving me samples. When I do go back to work, I will cherish my insurance.
