Military Nursing

Nurses General Nursing

Hi, I'm currently a pre-nursing student at Ohio State University. I have a boyfriend serving in the Army. I've always had an interest in military nursing but I'm not sure how to go about it. I was considering joining Army ROTC here at college...then finishing my BSN (if I get accepted into the Nursing Program) and joining the Army Nurse Corps. Does anyone have any experiences to share? Or maybe advice? I'm very curious about military nursing. Any military nurses out there? Please help! :nuke:

I can't figure out how to PM! But thank you so much!

I would just point out that the opportunities vary a bit among the service branches. And recruiters are notorious for promising the moon.

I worked under a Chief Flight Nurse who switched from the Navy to the Army to get the kind of position he wanted. Do your homework among the experienced, in-the-know people before you sign on a dotted line.

And please tell your boyfriend we truly appreciate his service!:D

Thanks for all your help!
