Has anyone graduated from mildred elley's practical nursing program or knows if this is a good school?
I was enrolled in the school for 6 months and found out that they are not accredited for the LPN at the NYC (Manhattan) school. Everyone there had to be forced to finish the medical assistant program and then you have to take the TEAS test and they will "HELP YOU FIND A LPN SCHOOL" Not worth the money or time.
@CNASoonRN I looked up a list of New York accredited LPN programs and Mildred Elley (manhattan) campus was on it. As for the LPN program i started in september and so far its pretty good. I took the TEAS in august passed all my pre requisites and got accepted after entering the school in march the tuition is pretty high and they do give mixed messages to their students, but as long as you do what you got to do to pass and move on you should be alright!
Hello Ruthie21. I know this a five year old post lol but I'm looking to go to Mildred Elley lpn program next month and want to know how it all turned out for you....were there any waiting lists for the LPN courses? How were clinicals? Testing throughout? And any helpful heads up info. You can give me....I'm transferring in a&p1 and 2. Thanks 😊
Hi, have you started the program at Mildred Elley yet? Any feedback would be helpful.
I'm thinking about going there due to the limited LPN programs in the NYC area.
I'm not sure about being a medical assistant first but I did remember when I went there they said something about being placed in the MA program "temporarily" then converting over to LPN. I plan to speak with an advisor again just to get some clarification on this. But yes, TEAS V exam must be taken first but I notice thats with most LPN programs in NYC. Taking the TEAS will be my next move, after taking a 7 week CNA course, because I want to make sure I can handle a 6-9/10pm schedule right after work.
Good luck on your exam though.
Hi, I'm looking into the LPN program at Mildred Elley. If anyone has any info, it would be helpful. Just wanted to know if its worth going there and how long the process is. I'm thinking of going from LPN to RN in the near future and I just wanted to start off my nursing career somewhere.

They have teachers that cheat, lie and stel there with no shame. They will have many issues once the law suits roll in. At least they are firing some of the problem people at Mildred Elley.
