Has anyone applied to midwestern university crna program? can anyone give hints on the program's interview experience for the class of 2015 that just started? Thanks.

Can you recall some of the questions you had?

Congratulations on your interview; I hope it went well!!

When you have a moment do you mind letting me know how it went, some of the questions they ask, how in depth they go, mood, flow of the day ect. ? Just hoping for some first hand insight on what to expect or anticipate.

Again, I hope your interview went well I wishing you the best of luck.

I was super detailed, like what kinds of meds I use, what type of pts we see mostly. I didn't go into any specific stories abt patients, stuck to what pt population and procedures/skills I use mostly

I haven't interviewed yet, my interview is in September. Congratulations! How did your interview go? What questions did you get/how's the process?

It' started off with the admissions director going over details of the program. We were then split into 2 groups. 1 group took a tour of the campus and the other group remained to interview. We were interviewed by a panel of 3-4 people.

Questions asked: Tell me about yourself. Why do you want be a CRNA, what the difference between a CRNA and an Anesthesiologist? How is your biochem? What would you do if you fail? At the end the director told us we should here from him by phone by the end of business day.

Thank you for replying! I have been practicing interview questions, I hope my preparation helps. Congratulations again!!

Thank you for the information! I have heard and read that the panel asks a lot of clinical questions as well as behavioral questions, and wanted answers down to the receptor level. Would you say that was the case? Congratulations on your success!! :)

Congratulations on your acceptance. That's great news! Very happy for you man.

What kind of clinical and pharmacology questions did get? I too heard they want to know down to the cellular and receptor level. Also who did you interview with; I've looked up the leadership team for that program online and was just curious who conducts the interviews.

Was the tone very serious and harsh? I heard they can be hard to read during these interviews.

Any information you have would be such a help.

Thank you for your time and congratulations again!
