Midwestern University CRNA Applicants 2024

Updated:   Published

Super nervous! Midwestern University is officially the first school I have truly submitted to and hoping to get in.

Stats:

  • 6 years ICU: neuro, trauma, surgical, medical
  • GPA 3.83 with some grad level courses
  • Science GPA is about 3.5- so a little low

Good luck everyone !

My application didn't have that. Are you sure you're applying to the Entry into Practice DNAP?  Besides, the application says it is full now.

Yes I filled that out. My dad and my wife have their masters and my mom has a a bachelors. Not sure if having educated family hurts your application or gives you a point LOL

Thank you.

Anybody know how possible it is to work during the first 9 months of the program online?

I applied to the right one. I'm not sure why yours don't have it. A review of chat showed some people had different essay prompt. I really don't know.

I read somewhere, can't remember where, that some people are able to work during that portion

I did had a different essay option. I had to re apply and I got the same essay as everybody else. Tbh I don't know what I did differently. I submitted my transcripts but I don't know if it will get there by tomorrow. Also, I sent one of them electronically. I'm going to call them tomorrow but do you guys know if the transcripts need to be there by tomorrow ?

did anyone who applied mid December hear back yet?

Did anyone get a rejection letter? Is anyone still waiting for an interview invitation?

Also, when are they interviewing?

So many questions :D

I applied Jan 12 and I have not heard anything yet. I saw in previous comments that it seems most applicants were asked for an interview at the 1 month mark after application. So I'm still holding hope!

When I had talked to admissions in late December the timeline they gave was app closes on Feb 1st and then interviews in March and April and then decisions being emailed out in May with classes starting end of August.

Best of luck to us!
