Midwestern State University Fall 2010

Hi is anyone applying to Midwestern State University. I finished sending off my paperwork today for fall admissions.

Congrats Kelly2010. At least you know in the Fall you'll be in Nursing School. Lol.

Alum08, don't worry. Everything will work out for you. I was limited to the # of schools i could apply to cuz i only took the NET and majority of them had switched to the Hesi or the Teas. How were your stats for Midwestern?

I applied to PV, Tarleton and WTAMU. Still haven't heard anything from either of em but im keeping my fingers crossed. This waiting is tough. LOL.

I had applied to WTAMU the first time I went to nursing school. I was accepted first time around but decline and went to Tech. I didn't have a 4.0 or anything like that and had average grades, and at that time the accepted 50 students I think. So I don't think it was super competetive... but that could have changed in the last 7 years. I bet you will get in there! Good Luck!

Really? Well that makes me a lil bit happy. The only thing about them is that they want me to take Pre-nursing classes b4 i get in. So if i am accepted, i would have to go there in the summer and take 2 nursing classes before i start the real classes in the fall. And i kinda wanted to travel this summer :-(

Oh really? Is it Patho and Pharm. I think you can take Patho from the DCCCD online. Theirs is a 2 hour course... not sure if it's the same one (the ones I took were 3 hour courses from Tech). I want to say I think you can take it online from Tech too, but I am not 100% on that.

Oh no, these classes are actual Nursing classes. I heard they are trying to change the program to a 4 semester program so the removed some of the Nursing classes and made the Pre-reqs. I think one of them is like Intro to Nursing.

Does anyone know when UT Tyler sends out acceptance letters for the MSN program? The deadline was March 15th and I'm about to go crazy waiting!!

Congrats!!!! .....:yeah:...................I did not receive mine today. Hopefully it will come tomorrow!! If you don't mind me asking, are you in Texas or Louisiana? Just curious. Thanks for letting me know!

Hopefully you will also, the letters are coming at different times. I have a friend who applied to the Educator track and received her letter last week, but I am in Texas.
