Midwestern State University Applying for fall 2014

Published

Hi guys!

I am thinking about applying for the program at MSU this feb. to start in the fall. I have been a student there before but am transferring back. I have 3 more classes to take which I will take there this spring. right now I have calculated my points to be 48.5 which I could easily mess up adding the points since I find the system confusing at times or I'm just extremely stressed about it lol.... I am wondering if it is worth applying, or to wait one more semster. Anyone else applying soon? I am especially nervous, I am ready to get into a program and get this over with!!! Comments and encouragment greatly appreciated (: And its nice to get to know some of the potential students I could possibly be with (:

I have been accepted as well and I have no idea what to do about housing! I am from the DFW area and driving would be too much of a pain. I emailed MWSU housing and they are currently filled up. Anyone know of any trustworthy apartments near the campus?

The essay wasn't too bad but I tot the interview was intimidating. I was so nervous throughout the interview

@galosugar I'm applying to mustang village which is like 5 mins or less away from the campus. Mustang village is very nice and they have 3 bedroom 3 bathroom, I'm coming from the Dfw area as well. You can also add me on fb Miracle Pratt.

@miraclepratt I hope you can get in, it is my understanding that they are booked for next semester already and they are only filling up spots for the dorms and not the apartments. It's frustrating. Apparently the apartments have been booked since April. Not very fair for us transfers who had to wait to see if we got into the program.:(

Galosugar I agree!! But mustang still have availability. I put down a deposit to be on the waiting list for apartment housing through midwestern housing office. I was told I would be taken off the list because people are constantly canceling room reservations. If all fails I will have to get an apartment close to campus. If anyone would be interested in doing that MESSAGE ME or EMAIL me at [email protected]

I don't want to get an apartment alone, and rent would be cheaper since me and whoever would split it in half. I would of checked out student housing/apartments months ago if I knew they were going to be high in demand. Also mustang village is $480 cheaper for 12 months than it is if you lease with them. Something I wish I would have known before.

Hmm I might have to try and get myself on that list soon then!

Anyone who will need to look for other living arrangements Arbor Creek is nice and give student discounts on rent. They are also located 3 blocks from the school. If you do not get into mustang or off the waiting list I'll definitely be willing to room. Just email me!

French Quarter apartments are located across from midwestern and has free wifi.

YES, the interview was incredibly intimidating. Well, if any of you both hear anything today, do post!! It's stil not fair and especially because classes start June 2!!

hey everybody i live at mustang village, u guys should go directly to the leasing office and apply, don't pass through housing, trust me the other apartments when you will see them live you won't like them that much

@mpatel90 I can't believe they made us wait this long too, but whenever I get an email I will post on here or I may just call if I don't get an email soon
