@keunnamonae did you try calling mrs Rudy? I called and she said she's finalizing the points now and hopefully committee would be meeting soon, then applicants would be notified their status.

@lorr19 no I haven't called her yet. I will probably wait until wednesday so by then hopefully she will know when the committee is actually going to meet because that is what I want to know. Cause if we know when the committee meets then we can get a guess when we will get letters. Did you ask her your rank?

@keunnamonae I asked about my rank she didn't answer that. I don't know why they hiding it or something. Last two set ago that applied, they all knew their ranks even before committee met, so this is kind of weird to me.

@lorr19 oh that is weird they did tell the last groups their ranks maybe she trying to wait until she has everything together and make sure everybody is ranked correctly. She told you she finalizing points so maybe she waiting until she finishes that today

@keunnamonae well I hope so and I hope we hear something at least this week or next week. I just want to know already. Wait is killing and just too much. I just want to start getting stuff done already. What other school did you apply to?

@lorr19 yeah I feel exactly the same way. I didnt apply to any other school because of certain classes having to be done. I really wasnt suppose to start nursing school until spring 2016 but because midwestern goes off a point system and allows you to still be enrolled in the prereq's while you apply I got to apply early. What other school you apply for?

@keunnamonae didn't apply to any other school apart from Midwestern. I always wanted to do my nursing career in Midwestern since last year. I just focused on getting all the requirements they needed, and apply there when I know I would be accepted. I wanted to apply to uta, but tot about it no use because I won't get financial aid there, instead loans, I haven't taken those three nursing classes they require before entering, plus I don't like uta at all and I just want to leave Arlington to a place different. I wanted to apply to Tcc nursing, but I didn't want an Rn degree. Another school would have applied to was ut Tyler, but housing there is twice that of Midwestern and I didn't feel like taking teas as I didn't have enough time to study for it. So hoping mrs Cathy gets done this week with everything hopefully, and they get to meet the committee soon. Am really not scared coz I know, by gods grace I would get in as I have enough points. I just want to start doing stuff so I don't do them last minute. Other schools have gotten a feedback already that applied to other nursing schools.

@lorr19 yeah I was looking at all those schools too except tcc cause it was only ADN and tyler I did not want to take the teas either. I took a lot of 8 week classes this semester which boosted by points from 63 back in december when i had cat add them up the first time to 69 now so I am not worried about getting in but still want the confirmation before I start buying stuff. Yeah but Midwestern also has a late application deadline than other schools. But hopefully we will know something by this week or next week.

@keunnamonae me too I just want confirmation as well at least know my ranking, so I can start getting stuff needed. It looks far away August, but it's isn't as far as we all think. Are you taking classes in Tcc this summer?

@lorr19 yeah it only like 3 months away and I know the three months are going to fly by. Yes I am taking my last prereq MicroBio in the first summer session and then Ill be done.

@keunnamonae I just want to start nursing school already. Who are you taking for microbiology? Mrs carrigton or mr pulse? After we get a response from mrs Rudy, do you mind we meet up and at least know someone going to Msu too? I would be coming to Tcc during the summer, probably to give new student orientation to new student, coz I be paid for it not sure yet. Also coming to see some old friends before nursing school starts.let me know what you think though

@lorr19 Yeah I want to start nursing school already too! I'm actually going to MSU this weekend. It was originally carrington but they changed the professor last minute and now it some women named eva sadat I think she from another tcc campus. And yes that would be awesome to meet up! I can anytime during the summer really, it will be good to at least know one person in nursing program because I know people at Msu but not in the nursing program. Are you going to new student orientation at msu?
