Midwestern State Fall 2015

Hey everyone! I've become interested in applying for MWSU for Fall 2015, but I have yet to see any threads about it so I decided to start one myself! Could anyone help me with their point system?

Yeah I do too! Hopefully she will be done adding up everyone's points and ranking soon, but I think she probeably wont be done until like 2 weeks from now. Yeah I just saw my award, its not that much basically offered me loans and one grant. Hopefully I qualify for a exception the lady told me about and if I do that may make my grant more money.

has anyone started registering for classes like patho, & intro to nursing and such? the classes you need for the program but don't have to admission to the program to take ?

I was informed that there would be a hold on the classes until the students that get in the program for fall get registered I believe they are still trying to figure out who will get excepted because that's who it's open to first

Does anyone know when we will be receiving letters? I'm pretty nervous because of my HESI scores. 😔

I know I have a hold on my account before I can register I have to go to orientation and see an advisor then I can register. I dont think they let you register until your actually accpeted into the program but I did see that some people have registered for patho( atleast that what it looks like in banner) and idk how they got to register for those classes unless they got permission to but still it would seem they wouldn't give permission until the actual nursing student got registered, but who knows.

@snwabeke as long as you got a 80% or higher on your math score and composite english score you are fine. they dont take into consideration your actual score they just want to see that you got the 80% or higher. The way you get accepted is strictly based on how many points you have and your rank out of all applicants.

I really want to call like towards the end of this week or beginning of next week, has anybody else called already or planned to?

As long as you got an 80 in each section you will be fine as far as letters I would say mid may

I got an 82 in Math and an 77.5 in English Composition.

then you will get denied unless you retake the english composite and turn your grades in fast

Just go retake the hesi English composition test again skip the math

you had to get a 80 in math(Hesi) and an 80 on english composite score on the HESI... if you did not get this score they wont consider your application
