I created this forum for nurses applying to Midwestern University's CRNA program starting in 2022.
Let's do this!

That’s awesome! I welcome to the anxiously waiting squad haha. I agree I’ve heard good things about faculty support and quality of rotations. Honestly I’m excited to travel for clinicals if given the opportunity!

Haha I hate but love the rolling admissions at the same time! I emailed them two weeks ago to add items to my file in hopes they would say we should know sometime soon, but nope LOL. Just we will add to your file and the committee will review ?. I am excited too! I am currently doing local travel nursing contracts since December and love the new environments and learning new things.

travelnurse I am working up in Loveland but a couple of friends worked in the units down at central. I interviewed at Mount Marty last year.
Chasingadream the rolling application is more nerve racking for sure! Sounds like we put in out app around the same time. Hopefully in the next month we will all hear something!
Yes it definitely is, but I do like that we didn’t have to wait for the application cycle to open to submit. It makes it nice, but at the same time I want to know! LOL yes hopefully we will hear something soon. ?
Agreed! Did u apply anywhere else?
Yes. I applied to u of a the other day. I plan on applying to a few schools in Florida and Texas when the application cycles open. I am studying to take the GRE in August ?. LOL. What about you ?
Nice! I also applied to u of a, Kaiser in ca, westminster, & Texas Wesleyan. Thinking about SMU and Loma Linda… we’ll see. The staggered application dates are a bit complex, and my main hesitation is bothering my references
I think if they have already agreed to be your reference for schools they would not mind extra applications to have to respond to. I’m sure they realize how competitive it is to get into school. Good luck ! I might apply to some schools in California next year if I don’t get in this first round, but the cost of living is what is making it hard for me to want to apply this year LOL

Hi everyone, thinking of applying to MWU. Although a bit late, I am shocked at how simple the application is and feel like I am missing something. Is there no prompt or limit on the personal statement?

I was wondering the same thing and emailed them. They literally told me to Google personal statements online for example LOL
