Hi dorlussa,
I took the entrance exam on 12/2 & recv'd my acceptance letter this past Saturday 12/13..so thankfully it wasn't too long of a wait;) Wish I would've read your post earlier to let you know what to expect on the test. What did you think? I thought it was easier than what I originally anticipated:) but was still nervous in the interim, waiting for my results..you should recieve them in 2wks..Best of luck sweety!

Hello, sorry for the delay. I'm a senior in the LPN program at middlesex vo-tech. The enterance test is easy, basic math, reading. If you have any questions on the program let me.
Good luck with your future studies.
Hi Happytony,
I was curious on the portion of tuition that has to be paid upfront? We don't have that mandatory meeting we have to attend until Jan 7th & just wanted to get an idea on what the payment is & what the payment plan is like, thereafter. I'm aware it may have changed since you started the program but I'm assuming- not by much. Also, what has your experience been like so far? I've heard positive things on the school so far so & I'm def happy about that. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Tnx
Hello Mari,
when I started the program it was $5020 for in county rate, & something like 6800 for out of county residents. Im part of the night program so it's divided into 8 payments of 630 over the length of the program. When are you starting? There's a lot of paperwork & blood work that needs to be completed before classes begin so stay on top of it, it's very over whelming in the begining.
Thanks for responding to my post. I start Feb 5th on days. Yeah, regarding the paper work & bloodwork..its a lot! Just hope my dr doesn't miss anything on the form where I would have to go back to him b/c he forgot to initial something or another.. Lol;) when's your anticipated graduation date? What course study would you say has been the most challenging so far since you've started the program?
hello, congratulations on starting LPN school. I love, & our class is expected to graduate June 16,2015. The first classes were time consuming for me working full time & per diem. A&P was like a part time job the amount of studying, but it gets easier. Keep up with your assignments & you'll do well.
Thanks Happytony;) Very excited about starting soon & congrats to you for your soon approaching graduation date;) Hey, have a question for you re: books for the my 1st semester. Is there anyway you can email me? My email add is [email protected] I'd really appreciate it if you can reach out to my as soon as you get a chance.. Thanks!
Ciao
Hello ciao, congratulations on starting the program. I'm having trouble emailing you. The book list for the first section of the program are A&P & fundamentals of nursing. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, Congrats on getting in.
I just recently applied to the MCVTS in Piscataway and I am eagerly awaiting but very nervous to be allowed to sit through the entrance exam because I have not been in school for the past 10 years. I took time off to raise my kids and was able to work from home during that time.
I am 36; I feel old to return to school but a career in nursing is all I ever wanted. Can any one give me any ideas of what to expect for the entrance exam? I was told basic math and basic English but to me that basic means addition and subtraction and basic English to me means spelling words. I know it sounds silly but I don't want to be known as the crazy lady that keeps calling the school to ask over and over.
I am beyond nervous. I check the mail everyday anxiously waiting..
