How to pass the NCLEX-PN in 2019?
Hi. So sorry to hear you haven’t been able to pass the exam. I graduated nursing school 3 yrs ago & just took my exam last week. I lost my mom & went through a difficult breakup in the 3yrs since I graduated. Went thru a lot of personal turmoil but God. I prayed & asked him to help me get motivated bc I lacked that too, considering how much time had passed since I graduated back, in 2016. I always remember one of my Professors say; if you don’t use it you lose it. Boy, was that ever the truth! I forgot so so much! My confidence was at zero but, The Lord heard my prayer as he always has. I asked him for guidance & I did my research- purchased The Hurst review bc I needed a major refresher on content. I also had access to the Nclex PN Mastery app which helped a great deal as well. There’s this registered nurse on YouTube called Sarah RN. She puts up these short, easy, concise & to the point videos & free quizzes which were a blessing too. Lots of easy to memorize mnemonics which helped me. I studied hardcore for a month & a half. (I failed med surg II in nursing school) and I passed in 85 questions. I know it was The Lord’s Favor 1st and foremost but also the willingness to want it- which I desperately needed. Didnt have it prior. I answered I can’t tell you how many questions each day. I found that I over studied bc when I sat down for that exam, it was easier than I thought it would be. I was not an A student just so you know. Don’t give up! Try talking to God sweetheart. He’s real & prayer does work. If I could do it, you can too. Ask for his help & he’ll give you the help you need if Nursing is where he indeed wants you. I know you must feel discouraged. Things will get better. It doesn’t rain forever. Chin up☺️

Middlesex County Vocational school
Your welcome! I'm currently a Junior in the day program. My time at MCVTS has been very gratifying;) The instructors & staff are wonderful. I've learned sooo much & I can tell you that for me, returning to school has been the best decision I've made. Considering the great reputation of the school (Very well founded might I add) & the affordable price they offer it to you for, well.. That's just a bonus;) Let me know how your test goes.. I'd tell you to try & take it easy but, you probably won't.. Only b/c you'll be anxiously awaiting your test results as I was & the rest of your contenders..its normal & part of the process. Leave it in the Lord's hands dear & pray. All things are possible if they fall within his will;) Well, that's my thought on things, may or may not be yours.. Nonetheless.. Good luck just the same!

Just applied for LPN program
Couldn't agree w/ you more! I would love to take two years or more off to pursue an adn or bsn program but, unfortunately.. I don't have the luxury to do so.. I'm a mother of three, pay tuition, car note, rent, all my own bills.. Etc. Doing the LPN program is feasible for me at this time. Once I graduate & obtain expierience, I can find that wonderful job that will aid in financing the continuance of my educationI do intend to further my education & becoming an LPN is no time wasted in my eyes. I'm getting educated in the interim, becoming an LPN & working, making $$ & ultimately paving the way & opening the doors into all my future nursing endeavors..nothing comes easy but if you want it enough & it's in the Good Lord's will.. Ha..! Sky's the limit!

Hi Nancy 221, Its a very basic test. Just make sure u brush up on your (fractions-Add, sub, div, & multi & decimals, add, sub, div, multi) Percents, pos & neg intergers- little algebra in that regard- not too much) ratio & proportions. I took the test last dec & had Roman numerals on there but I heard they're no longer on there but brush up on it anyways, just in case. There are also no math word problems when I took it which was great for me b/c I highly dislike math! Lol;) Get the tabers adult Ed testing book.. U can get it at the library. Study ur sentence structure, grammar, punctuation.. Etc. Hope this helps! Best of luck sweety!í ½í¸Š

Hi Roxyann57, Thank you for responding to my post:) I hear nothing but great things from this school & I'm hopeful & excited it will be a gratifying journey for me as well! So glad to hear your experience was positive. Hey, I'm curious to know what my scores were for the entrance exam.. Do they let you know at the orientation meeting? Just curious to see how I did;) As far as the tuition, not much has changed since last yr according to a current student who gave me an idea on what the payment plan will be. Def happy about that! Do you suggest I review any particular course study before I begin to give me a head start such as a&p or medical terminology? Anything at all you'd suggest? I have worked in the healthcare industry so thankfully it won't be completey foreign;) I do know however, this will be a long journey & I have lots of late night studying ahead of me! Pls share any & all advice on anything you wish you knew or did before starting the program you'd think may be helpful for me to know. Thanks again, happy holidays & God bless! ciao_mari

Hi Happytony, I was curious on the portion of tuition that has to be paid upfront? We don't have that mandatory meeting we have to attend until Jan 7th & just wanted to get an idea on what the payment is & what the payment plan is like, thereafter. I'm aware it may have changed since you started the program but I'm assuming- not by much. Also, what has your experience been like so far? I've heard positive things on the school so far so & I'm def happy about that. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Tnx

Hello all! I've been accepted to the Mcvts Lpn 2015 day program & was wondering if any current students can tell me what the tuition payment plan is like? Very excited about returning to school & need to put my finances in order before I start. They will go over the tuition details nxt month at a mandatory meeting I have but wanted to have an idea of the $ I have to come up w/ before then. I also wanted to know any feedback on your current experience at the school. From what I've gathered thus far.. It's all positive;)
