Hello all!
I took my TEAS this week and applied for the BSN program, Spring 2022. The wait is KILLER and I was trying to see the average GPAs and TEAS scores of folks accepted and found these threads. I am optimistic about my chances!
TEAS: 83.3
Cumulative GPA: 3.6
Science GPA: 4.0
I've still got A&P II and Micro that I am taking TOGETHER this Fall, but I have been enjoying the science classes so far so I am hopeful my GPA doesn't suffer under the load of taking them both at once. Would love to hear the experiences of others! Good luck to everyone!

I have
GPA: 3.52
TEAS: 76
program GPA: 3.41
applied for both BSN and ADN.
Well, unfortunately, I got a really bad instructor for A&P II so I'm probably going to drop that class, focus on Micro this semester, pick up A&P II in the Spring and push Nursing back to Fall 2022. I'm disappointed but feel this is the best route to take since continuing with this instructor could result in my failing BOTH A&P II and Micro. I'd rather pass one and postpone the other than take an F. Best of luck to each of you!
Did you take them at mga? Who did you have for A And P? I've had both (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for 1 and currently in (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for 2. They are pretty difficult, though (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) I like her style of teaching better... and micro well don't know yet. How are you failing already if your at mga at least I haven't had any exams yet to place a definite grade and withdrawal choice. I'm also in micro I'm willing to try study groups if anyone is interested. I have (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for micro
Well, I don't know that I'm failing anything yet but I've done poorly on two quizzes, one for each class. I can't say the name of the professor on here; it will get blocked by a moderator, but if you go to MGA and access SWORDS, it's the instructor in Cochran for A&P 2. The lectures are presented without PowerPoint. Instead she handwrites on a piece of paper and projects that on the overhead. The syllabus isn't being followed. Lab is being handed a list of organs and a model and finding the listed items on your own. It's a hot, hot mess.
Aw that's crazy. Yeah I didn't know about the not putting names in. Well. I have class on Monday my professors awesome about providing us materials I'll ask if I'm allowed to share my PowerPoints with you. We just finished up endocrine. And are on to the reproductive system.
Oh the lab thing is kinda the same with us. I'm at the warner robins/macon. My last a p foreshore was like that. But this semesters lady is awesome! I'll definitely talk to her.

Oh no :( . Do what’s best for you. I took A&P and micro in the same semester as well in 2019 and it definitely wasn't easy. My advice for A&P, don’t rely too much on the instructor. You have to teach your self tbh. I use to miss class days just to sit home and study. It's a book called human anatomy by cliff notes which is GREAT!! and watch many many Youtube videos. Thats how I passed human anatomy II with an A and micro with an B. I hope it helps.
