has anyone attended this program? i take the entrance test in april and i dont know what to expect. is it very hard? is this program any good?

I would call and find out whats going on and see if they have ur correct address...I would be loosing my mind

Thank you I never thought about calling .... but I will now in the morning I went to veeb and got my app but if I don't have to spend 13k plus I won't ... I rather 2500 ...but I kno I will be going to school this yr ...

So no results still I'm getting annoyed but they told me to send an email to whom ever in charge or leave her a voicemail .... like seriously ...grrrr

I'm new on here and just wanted to first off say good luck on your career endeavors :)

Secondly, i think you should really harass them about your results because I took my C-net exam on January 24th, and I got back my results February 14th or so. My TABE exam is next wk and I'm very very nervous cause from what it seems like its very hard. Does anyone know exactly what the TABE exam covers???

I graduated from this program (mid-manhattan) in june2010. I am now an LPN attending an RN program as well. Its a good program but take advantage of what you can. no one will spoon feed you anything if you want it you gotta get it yourself. stay on top of the teachers if you need something done (especially towards graduation time) once youre done with the first half of the year the rest is easy breezy (alternating 2 weeks clinicals/class...but you dont get much done in class). word of advice: stay motivated. keep reading. USE THE STUDY GUIDES PROVIDED FOR YOU (not many schools will hand you all the material you need for the year without you having to look). dont get caught up in the politics/gossip (there is plenty) and SPEAK UP if you want something. also as a new grad jobs are few and far between. aim for 85+ average in order to get recommended for a bridge program lpn/rn. message me for my e-mail if anyone has any questions.

She said she will resend them .... smh ... I just don't understand ......what if I passed I just hope I didn't miss my tabe test ....

Since you passed how is it graded ? ... please and thanks is it by section or overall

The C-net is graded based on how many questions you answered correctly in comparison to the everybody else who took it. So, even if you scored 40/50, it isn't 90%. In order to take the 2nd exam, TABE A, you have to get 50% on all the sections plus at least a 50% overall.

I'm sure you passed but missed your TABE exam, you can explain it to them. Plus, it isn't your fault that you didn't receive your results, its their fault and therefore out of your hands.

I sat for the test last Saturday. I will have to wait 3 weeks to get my score. If someone passed the test, would he/she be so kind as to provide me with his/her score and percentile?

Hey Girls!

I passed both the C-net and the TABE exam.

I took the C-Net in February and got:

Reading/Reasoning ability: 31 correct, 51%

Numerical Ability: 47, 84%

Language Ability: 52, 57%

Total Score: 130, 73%

I took the Tabe exam in March and got perfect scores (12.9) on all three sections (reading, math, numerical)

I also handed in my application already and since I was the first person to hand it in I'm basically just waiting till June to hear back. The director told me that she doesn't see any problems in me getting home so I really hope I do get in.
