po kras...

I have a letter about SBS sponsorship in my letter, but I told them my first choice is Brookilyn...

Does anyone who received the SBS letter know if that is designated for Goldwater only?

I think the office is closed this week, so I really can't call to ask.

Hi all. I just found out that I was accepted on Tuesday. I never received my letter. I had to all and was told over the phone. Then the letter was faxed to me. I'm sooooo excited. I wanted to go to goldwater, but it's for scholarship students only.

The orientation is on Aug 19 for paying students and Aug 20 for scholarship students.

Congratulations to all!

hey everyone! I was just wondering what the sbs sponsorship? And I got the phone call from goldwater a few days ago to come in about two weeks for my medical clearance and the second interview will be done at the same time as well. I dont think goldwater students have an orientation they just told me to come in for the interview and school starts 9/10. Im just wondering though if were supposed to buy nursing shoes to go with our uniform does anyone know? Im so excited and anxious I just wana buy school supplies already!! lol.:D:D:D

Mee too! I wanna buy school supplies and nursing shoes, and books/study guides.

That's a good question. I think we can wear our own shoes. When I went to drop off paperwork I saw a few students and they had on their own sneakers. Probably have to wear nursing shoes when we're in the hospital though.

So do classes start Sep 10th or 11?

Can't wait to get started. Nervous, but excited.

I know for goldwater classes start 9-10, I wonder why they would start class on a thurs anyway im not really sure when it starts for bk or the manhattan starts. Im curious did anyone take the official lpn prep course at mid manhattan? Bc they said those students get priority seating at goldwater if not there then to the other two schools... congratulations to everyone!!! yay!!!

Did anyone complete the CPR course yet

I am doing mine tomorrow morning. It's $75.00. Other places are from $80-100+

Specializes in Critical Care.

free from work ! =)

I'm doing mine tomorrow. They only want Red Cross or American Heart Assn.

Congrats to all accepted...I still have a question about SBS...I have completed my Red Cross it cost me $80.

In regards to the uniform, last year Brooklyn student wore navy scrubs. I think they only had to wear nursing shoes for the clinicals.
