Michigan pre-nursing students

Hi All! Just curious...I have two pre-reqs to take (A&P II & Microbiology) and the HESI exam before I can apply to WCCCD Nursing program...I have a 8 y.o. Son and a baby girl on the way...just finished the fall semester and was wondering, has anyone taken these two classes together? Is it best to take the separately? Thank you for the feedback! :-)

Hello,

I'm at Baker college of Cadillac. I took both of these courses at the same time last spring. I did not think that it was too difficult and I had a lab an English class and a technology class at the same time as well. I'm not sure what the HESI exam is we take a Kaplan entrance test here and I'm taking mine on the 18th and get notified on the 20th if I made it!!

Specializes in ICU.

I am taking them both together right now. I have A's in both. I really loved micro so that seemed a little easier for me than A&PII. Finals this week. I am so ready to be done.

I took micro, bio, nutrition and 2 other non-science classes in the same semester and got all As. It's doable. I have a 7 year old as well, and was working at the time. Good luck!
