Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

Felipe, I believe the accelerated program is only offered at the Medical campus

Congrats to everyone, I have been following this thread for months. I got my letter @ 9:04am for accelerated. Thank you for all the hopes and insight. best of luck to all.

Hi All, Congratulations! I've been following you and so excited to read about your acceptances! I will be in your shoes a year from today. Please share any tips you can - have you applied to all programs? Do you get to chose which campus? And also, how do you guys set up your MDC email on your phone?

Accelerated is only at the Medical Campus. Generic is both at Medical Campus and Homestead. They look at your zip code and that is how they determine which campus. I live in Homestead so for generic full-time I get placed at the Homestead Campus.

I got IN for the generic full time U guys!!!!! I can't describe how excited I am right now ! I knew it would be today yessssss!!!!!!

Congratulations to all of those who got in and good luck to those who r waiting ) God is good let keep the faith guys !!!

My general GPA was 3.50 and sciences 3.88 !

OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i told you... im so happy for all of you.

Hi Janna K! Excellent! I then know a classmate! I'm off Campbell drive so it would be a bit tough to make it to medical campus with dropping off a child at school. Much prefer the one in Homestead just because it makes life easier. Traffic downtown is horribly scary at times.... Just thinking about being stuck everyday causes anxiety.

Am very thankful that I will be in Homestead! Now to start doing all those things on the list........

Those who have not gotten an email- don't give up. There will still be emails going out as the deadline for everyone to turn in their acceptance is the 24th. Not everyone who gets accepted will choose to enter the program.

I know it sucks, my plan b is Barry, I will go next week to find out which classes I have left to be ready to apply.

Waitttttttttt Liliannnnn waitttttt. Maybe you will receive your acceptance later or tomorrow, dont lose hope bc if you are not in they have to send you a denied letter
