Hi Everyone,

Has anyone had taken the NACE Exam lately? I am taking the NACE Exam next week. I've studying the Foundations of Nursing book and NCLEX-PN book. I am seeking some advices and also things that came out of the test (sections I need to study on). Please let me know asap anyone. Thank you. I'll appreciate it.

I took the NACE and to prepare I studied the NCLEX-PN book as well. The test is broken down into the following Subscales: Physiological Needs, Psychosocial Needs, General Principles of Drug Administration, Moral, Legal, Ethical Issues and Nursing Process (Assessing, Planning, Implementing, and Evaluating.) I took the test 2 years ago and had been out of practice/school for 2 years. I did well considering I did not study that much. After I took the test I realize that had I studied my NCLEX-PN book a later more I would have considerable better.

It was not that difficult at all, you just use common nursing sense. Remember you only need to pass with a 65%

Thank you very much! I will be taking the test on Monday morning. Tomorrow is my last day to review all the essential knowledge. I hope I pass the test. I will let you know how I do.

Is there any specifics on the test, such as questions lit the NCLEX-PN questions, dosages, question like what would you do if so and so, or which one would be the best choice so and so..?

Im sorry but I dont remember any specific questions. But the test is just like taking the NCLEX. So if you are practicing the study questions an NCLEX PN study guide then you are studying the SAME questions that will be on the NACE.

How was the test? Hope you did well!

I didn't do good. I got a 53%. 22 points off. Very close but not enough. More studying needs to be done. Now I know, it should be easier for the retake. Thank you for your help.

Im sorry to hear that you didnt do as well as expected. Are you planning on taking the test again? I applied at MDC but I know that BC not make you take the NACE.
