I believe Generic is about 150 people. I don't know about accelerated though. :s

Congrats eagles wings on getting your acceptance! I think accelerated is 50, but not sure. That's what it looks like from the class spaces available for the main classes. Anyone try to make an appt for the fingerprints/ background check? From the letter it looked like we were supposed to have this done by July 12, but the earliest appt I could make online that didn't conflict with the orientation was July 13. Hmmm.
I'm going to prepare for the accelerated program by spending as much time as possible with my family before it starts and saving as much money as I can. Then psyching myself up for a lot of studying!
Apparently MDC is aware that we cannot make a fingerprinting appointment before July 12, and that is ok. We just have to get the first available.
I was able to get one at North Campus on July 12, no earlier. I was kind of worried but its good to hear the Med Campus is aware of this. I am going this Wednesday to start getting my titers. It will take me about 2 or 3 weeks to get all of that done plus the physical so I wanted to start ASAP. It just stinks that Medicaid doesn't cover this.

Don't feel bad my appointment is July 15 and they say it's fine. I am already signed up for the CPR class July 9 and am doing the drug test as well as the titer for varicella and tb this week. As far as preparing, I plan on relaxing a little bit as well as getting the books as early as possible to start preparing.

Does anyone know how many people usually graduate from the Generic full-time program?
Is it true that the most people make it through the generic full-time program? I do not hear about alot of people failing the classes? Does anyone have any information on the completion numbers from the Generic full-time program?
I had originally gone to Broward College, and at that school about 80% of the students will quite the first semester; so I was very concerned about that.
Does anyone know if the online American Heart Association CPR class plus an in-person skills check is adequate for MDC? It would work WAY better with my schedule if I could take most of it online.

So excited, got my acceptance package today! Hope you all get one too. Wow. It hasn't fully hit me yet.
what was ure GPA in the sciences courses?
My GPA for my prerequisites was a 4.0.
I currently have a 4.0 in all prereq classes.
The CPR class depends on who certifies it. So you can take it anywhere as long as it is certified by the people that your school say. Hope that helps.

I called one of the service centers and was explained it's a great option, but I prefer to do the 3 hours class at Plantation General Hospital. It will be after work hours, which is doable.
