MI Nurses: which Detroit hospital systems test for nicotine?

Can anyone tell me which Detroit hospitals test for nicotine?

I know for sure that Henry Ford does, not sure about the new Beaumont/Oakwood/Botsford merged system. I also think that DMC does too.

Thank you. I didn't even know that those hospital systems have merged! I am wondering about St John in particular

I wasn't aware that it was ok to test for nicotine.....I guess I'm behind in this issue but his was the first that I've heard of this. What is it that they do to test and why? What is the reason for it?

Many of the school systems here in NC are testing and adjusting insurance rates accordingly. Same w/BMI. I wonder how long before the hospitals start....
