MGH MDE 2020

Published

Creating an early post for MGH application and incoming cohort for fall 2020. Good luck to everyone and look forward to hearing from you! If anyone wants to share essay ideas or critiques, that'd be awesome!

I was accepted and It also said I recieved a scholarship. Not sure of the amount but said I would know in the next few days. congrats everyone!

I just got an acceptance email but it doesn't say anything about a speciality. Is it assumed you get in for the specialty you applied for?

Mine didn't either so I would assume yes?

I got in but I did not receive any information of scholarship. Did everyone else get a scholarship mention in their email?

I was accepted to fnp but not given a scholarship

Specializes in Psych/Mental Health.

I was accepted (applied to PMHNP and I'm also assuming accepted means into the program you applied to)! No mention of scholarship

I just double checked and they said yes it is an acceptance to the track you applied for!

Did they send out rejection letters before they sent out letters of acceptance?

I got in, but I turned down my spot. They offered no scholarship, so I would be shelling out about $200k in loans for tuition, room and supplies for three years

Hi,
I noticed in the conditions of admission that incoming students must have all of their prerequisites completed upon confirming their enrollment on March 19. I may just be misunderstanding this, but other schools allow for you to complete outstanding prerequisites a bit later, as long as it is before the first semester of the program begins. If anyone can confirm that it is true that the last prereq has to be completed by March 19, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

When I looked through the email it said all pre-reqs must be done before matriculation but the deposit was due on March 19th. Hope this helps!

Hi! I was not offered any scholarship in my acceptance letter. I really like the MGH program but I’m kind of worried how I would afford it. Has anyone talked to previous students and have they offered advice on how to pay for the program (for example certain scholarships?). Any suggestions or advice would be helpful!
