@Christine Dano I couldn't use the link either! Thank you for starting a FB group though, I can't wait to join. ?
Did anyone submit before the December 1st deadline and hasn't heard back yet? I submitted before the deadline but there was an issue with NursingCAS after the deadline which resulted in my having to resubmit some transcripts and I'm concerned that this may have delayed my decision. I called today and they said it's on a "rolling basis at this point" so I'm wondering if that applies for everyone after December 1st. ?♀️
Hi,
I noticed in the conditions of admission that incoming students must have all of their prerequisites completed upon confirming their enrollment on March 19. I may just be misunderstanding this, but other schools allow for you to complete outstanding prerequisites a bit later, as long as it is before the first semester of the program begins. If anyone can confirm that it is true that the last prereq has to be completed by March 19, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I double checked my email because I had asked this question before applying in August. Response email from admissions "This means that an applicant can only have one prerequisite outstanding during the summer semester. As long as you have 5 out of 6 prerequisites complete by May of 2020, and complete your last one by the end of August 2020, you are eligible for the fall 2020 start."
Hi everyone,
I just came across this post when browsing allnurses. I'm in my last semester of the PMHNP program at MGHI IHP and thought I would share a little bit about my experience in the program. Overall it's been a good experience, but I do wish I had a bit more realistic idea about the psych clinical placements would be like back when I was applying. The psych track in my class only has about 25 students, but they seem to have a very hard time finding placements. I was initially excited to have clinical sites at places like Mclean or MGH inpatient psych units, but unfortunately was never placed in any teaching hospital settings. I know some students have had some really cool clinical experiences (like a semester on the addictions consult team (ACT) at MGH, or a semester somewhere at Mclean), but some of us have had a harder time getting placements we were really interested in. As an example, I was interested in child/adolescent psych coming in, but haven't had any opportunities with this population in a psych NP student capacity. They do have to give everyone some hours in each age group for licensing purposes, but it looks like I'll just have a few days shadowing in peds psych here and there. Definitely don't want to deter anyone from the program, but just thought I would share my experience for those applying to the DEN psych track who may be considering various schools. Good luck to everyone applying!

Ok, thanks everyone! That's good to know. I submitted November 29th. Also checked my spam folder, but didn't see anything. I'll call them tomorrow ?
