MGH IHP DE NP 2019

I didn't see a thread for this year's IHP direct-entry NP applicants, so figured I'd create one. Anyone else applying this cycle?

I’m in for WHNP/Adult Gero. No scholarship info, I also emailed about it. I most likely will give up my spot if I don’t get any money. I’m deciding between this program and Vandy’s midwifery program. I got a scholarship from them.

Hi everyone, I got waitlisted for women's health. Does anyone know how the waitlist works, and how likely it is that I may still get a spot? Does everyone who did not get accepted get put on the waitlist? I am a little bummed out but have not given up hope yet since I know not everyone will be accepting their spots. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks! ?

I got accepted for PNP and it said in my acceptance letter that I received a scholarship and would hear specifics in a few business days. Congrats on getting it!

They replied my email about scholarships and if it was not mentioned in your acceptance letter then you were not awarded one!

You shouldn’t need to, it’s closed but public. Want to PM me your Facebook name and I can try to invite you to join?

Don't lose hope!!! Any time someone gives up their spot for another program it opens up space. I was reading threads from previous years and there were a handful of people who were initially waitlisted and got in off the waitlist!

Hi, I was waitlisted for women's health as well! I am feeling the same way you are. For those who were accepted congrats!! Hopefully, we will both hear something in the upcoming weeks. I'm not entirely sure how the waitlist works... if anyone has any insight I would love to know as well! Thanks!
