MGH IHP DE NP 2017

Hi,

Just starting my application for the 2017 Fall entry- wondering if there is anyone else here who is starting too, or anyone from previous years who would be willing to give us some insight?

Sorry, crazy weekend- yay that it's complete! I just got mine in ( not for MGH) too so now I guess we just wait till Feb! I don't think MGH does interviews- I attended an info session last year and they didn't mention it. I'm assuming you're not from the Boston area? I have heard good things about the program mostly and the campus is pretty nice too. They also seem to be one of the few places that gives any scholarship. I ended up choosing to go the BSN route first as I need to take 2 years to do the BSN and that was not really an option at MGH.

Do you think maybe you could email your references politely and just ask them if they sent the letters in?

One of my recommenders submitted on Jan 3rd and another did just today after I emailed her several times trying to get a hold of her.. I'm super worried that because two of my recommendations were late that'll affect my chances. Feeling kinda bummed.

Question too.. The website indicates that if you have more than one outstanding pre-req they may not consider you. When I submitted my app I had already completed the fall semester but I didn't have my grades so I marked a few classes as 'in progress.' I just now got all my final grades and emailed the school to send them in. Now I only have human anatomy left, which I'm gonna take this semester. I should be okay regarding pre-reqs, right?

I just got an email from MGH stating that my application is complete and under review. Says it will take "several weeks" to hear their decision.

How did you guys submit fall 2016 grades? Mine just became available a few days ago and I emailed the school with my unofficial grade report (a printer-friendly PDF form from my community college webadvisor account). I just got an email saying my app is incomplete and it's that transcript. I don't know if maybe they haven't gotten to my email yet or if the PDF I sent them isn't "official" enough. I need to have this submitted by the 26th in order for them to review my app.

I just read a few of the past forums and it seems decisions were available to view around Feb 9th. Hopefully, we'll know soon!

Hi, Thanks for replying, I just heard from my advisor that they are sending letters out! I'm wondering if the fact that she didn't call me means I did not get in?
