MGH IHP ABSN Summer 2018

Hi, Please who is applying to MGH IHP for summer 2018? They keep extending the deadline from Nov 1st to Dec 1st and now Dec 15th. Does any one know if the the date we hear from them will also change?

Hi Everyone, I also applied to the program and submitted my application on December 1st and have received a few emails from MGH regarding the status of my application but nothing yet aout when admission decisions will be made. Hoping to hear some positive news soon.

I applied for the November 1st deadline and my application status is the same as those above from the December 1st deadline. The only thing that changed was my transcripts since I had to submit new ones after receiving my pre-req grades from this past semester. Next week should be the big week!

No - but the email they sent right before Christmas break stated "MGH Institute of Health Professions will be closed for the holiday week as follows: Friday, December 22 (at 2PM) through Tuesday, January 2. We will resume our normal business hours on January 3 at 8:30AM". So I assume nothing will be sent today.

Correct - they open again tomorrow. I'm praying we hear something this week. I have beeing dying to find out since November 2nd lol.

Have another update - called again today and they are still trying to get decisions out by the end of the week. However, Boston is supposed to be getting 8-12 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow. If they are unable to work Thursday and/or Friday, decisions will be pushed to early next week.

Hi guys! I'm slowly going crazy with all these deadline changes. When they said we'd hear by winter break I probably refreshed my email about 400 times that week. Then 4pm came on the 15th and I called and told me it was indefinitely postponed. Then I just called again today and yes heard the same thing that it will probably be early next week because of the storm. I applied for the Nov 1st deadline and I am dying to hear. Also it's nice to know that everyone else had that same heart attack when they sent out the happy holidays email!

I applied in mid October and it feels like FOREVER ago. Also my job keeps asking because they need many months advanced notice for our projects so this is getting extra stressful. So, as of now we will get word after the storm? UGH!

This wait is killing me! I'm really hoping for Monday or Tuesday- preferably Monday haha. I'm assuming their offices will be open tomorrow.

Well - looks like its going to be next week..the anxiety is KILLING me. Anyone willing to try and call today? I highly doubt they will send them out on a Friday after they were off yesterday. I was told via email will be how they let you know.
