I just heard back from the MGH direct entry NP program and I got on the waitlist. I am wondering if anyone has had experience on the waitlist for this program before? Did you get an offer? I am also waiting to hear back from the Regis Direct Entry MS nursing program (which awards both a BS is nursing and a MS). I hate this waiting game! Anyone have experience with Regis as well?!
Also: any idea when those that did get accepted to MGH direct entry nursing have for their deadline to accept?
They sent me an email. They said they would contact me within a few days to talk about the ABSN program. I need to notify them by the 23rd if I want to transfer my application to the other program. Disappointing but I still have hope for MGH.
Definitely keep the hope about MGH! But that is nice that Northeastern offered you consideration for the accelerated nursing program. How long is the ABSN? If it is only a year and a half or so you could complete that and apply for MS programs to become an NP after...just a thought!! Maybe a differnt path but still leading towards your goal :)
Yes this is true! It's 16 months long, so not too bad. Are all MS programs 2 years? It would be wonderful if I found one that was even a year and a half but I doubt it. I believe things happen for a reason so we'll see!
I'm starting to think they don't have any spots left.
