Has anyone applied for the MGH Institute of Health Professionals ABSN for Spring 2016?
I thought I'd start a thread for applicants.
I believe the deadline is in July so I may be an early bird.
I appreciated their application the most - they really give their applicants a lot of opportunities to shine. Of all the schools I've applied to, they seemed to put the most effort into getting to know their applicants.
I am waitlisted...out of curiosity, for those of you accepted when is the deposit due? I am assuming waitlisted people will start to find out by then....

Just to clarify from above, the deposit is due on Tuesday September 29 by 12pm! After that I believe they will start contacting those who are waitlisted. Also, there is already a Facebook group called "MGHIHP ABSN SPRING 2016".. Please join!
I apologize if this was answered already but I cant seem to find it. Does anyone know the exact start date for the summer 2016 or past summer start dates?
Curious - has anyone on the waitlist been admitted? I am on the waitlist for Spring 2016, and still waiting to hear about Summer 2016. I am staying hopeful from the waitlist though, or at least for Summer. I would be moving from Colorado.
hey not sure if my previous reply went through bc when i hit sent i was redirected to a blank screen but if it wasn't i was curious to know how the absn program was at MGHIHP and if u have any advice or suggestions for new students. also if u think it is doable for a single mother; plus if u knew anyone within the program with u who was a single parent and if possible if u can share what u witnessed about their experience. hope to hear back. thank you. (and CONGRATULATIONS for graduating! awesome!)
Has anyone heard if they were accepted into the Summer 2016 accelerated program at MGH? I'm going crazy waiting to hear back and wanted to see if anyone else had gotten word yet. They said approximately 8-10 weeks after the application due date, so that would've been December 28th to January 17th depending on how they're counting the last week. I would love to hear your comments, and what your stats were while applying if you don't mind sharing :)
Hi, yes. I got accepted into the Summer 2016, the decision date was 01/15/2016... my GPA was only 2.8 from Umass Bos, then 2.9 from RCC. All my prerequisites are A's and B's, and I sent in a very good statement of intent with three recommendation letters from two of my most recent Managers and one from my Chem1 Prof.
