Here is the acceptance thread for MGH Accelerated for last year - applicants received an email in late Dec stating that notifications would go our in Jan. Most applicants heard around Jan 5. Best of luck.

i called the mgh offices today and the voicemail said that they will be closed until January 4th...so im guessing we'll find out around the 5th. Last year they found out around that time also. Goodluck to all! :)

Hello All! I am new to the boards but am a long time "follower" I am also one of the hundreds of MGH ABSN hopefulls! I called their offices today and spoke with a very nice woman who said that they are aiming to have the decisions mailed out by this Friday/early next week. Yikes! The anticipation is killing me! :/

Is anyone sending in their grades from this most recent semester before hearing back from them? Good luck to everyone!

I called yesterday and they said responses will be sent out this week. Hopefully before the huge storm we're supposed to get in the Boston area tomorrow and Thursday!

thanks for the updates everyone. the waiting is a lot tougher than i expected.

i really wish there was a more standardized process for absn programs. i'm waiting to hear from mghihp before i submit my application to a second school because that school reviews applications on a rolling basis and send admissions decisions pretty quickly, but then want a deposit to secure your spot pretty quickly. plus i need a microbiology lab for that school, which i'm waiting to register for until i know i truly need it.

even just a standard set of pre-reqs would be great!

I have been following these updates for weeks, I was also super impatient!! But I wanted to let people know that I heard from MGH today, and was accepted into the 2011 class. I'm super excited, and hopefully you guys have some good mail before the snowstorm tomorrow as well!! Good luck :)

Just got my letter today. I got in! I'm so excited, but now I feel like I have a million things to do to prepare. Good luck to everyone else.

Boston13--I am just wondering, what is the school with the rolling admissions? Just looking into different programs. thanks!

mcphs. they have a stated due date of june 1st for fall start, but admissions said they review applications as they arrive. previously worcester only had a spring start, but they now offer a fall start as well.

the cohort that started this month has a thread under "mcphs class of 2012"
