I just applied for the MGH program starting in May 2013. Is anyone else applying here and/or anywhere else around the Boston area starting next summer?

It's available online the same place as the application was submitted! I'm in!!!!!!!!!

Congrats everyone! I was also accepted but have opted to attend Curry - classes start tomorrow. One step closer to becoming an RN for all of us.......!!

Congrats, everyone! I have been accepted also. Has anybody received an offer for a scholarship? I don't blame you, PennyS, after reading about people not receiving loans, I have decided to apply to Curry as plan B. I have already applied to Simmons. MGH is definitely my number one choice.

dsundina - where did you hear that people were not rec'vg loans ? just with the economy do you mean ? where would scholarship awards letters be ? not online right ? did you apply for scholarship ? or just will be considered for one by mere application ?

I was typing a message when my firefox crashed. Anyway, I heard about some people not getting approved for a loan here, on allnurses. A person stated that they accepted couple of people from the waiting list days before the first day of class, because some folks didn't get approved for a loan. I can't find it now, I must have read about 40 threads here, on allnurses.

They include the scholarship info in the acceptance letter. But they don't specify the amount of it. Just the offer. You don't have to apply for it. Mere application is sufficient. I hoped it helped.

Hello everyone! I saw on your posts that you were able to see your admissions decision online? I applied for the DE MSN program so I think out decisions are coming shortly after yours. Where on the portal did you see the decision? Just curious.... Thanks!

There was an email 24 hours prior to the decision letters being accessible online. The email read that the decision letter would be available on the next day...It was where our application was submitted, same log in.

Hi everyone! I applied to MGH's ABSN program and recently got accepted, as well as have recieved a merit scholarship. While this isn't my top choice, it's still a great honor to be accepted. I'm still waiting to hear back from 3 other schools, so I'm a bit anxious bc MGH needs an answer by February. Anyone else in the same boat?

Hi Annie,

congratulations on your acceptance! Why isn't it your top choice, what is and why? How big is your scholarship? What other schools did you apply to? As for me, I think scholarship changes a lot of things. I really wanted to go to Curry, but since I got accepted to MGH and got appreciated through a merit scholarship, I feel wanted and that's a great feeling.
