MGH ABSN Summer 2013

I just applied for the MGH program starting in May 2013. Is anyone else applying here and/or anywhere else around the Boston area starting next summer?

I applied for the january 13 start & I was waitlisted so I reapplied. I'm hoping to get in this time!

It seems like they wait list a lot of people..???? let me ask you, did you have outstanding pre-reqs when your application was submitted ? Although they allow applications to be submitted without completion of all pre-reqs this may be one of their criteria for wait listing somebody. I can't imagine with all of the applicants that they would accept those who have not completed the pre-reqs over those who have. Also the pool of applicants is that much more competitive because you have this overflow from the prior application period. I am sure wait listed get priority acceptance. SO....you probably will be accepted.

I have a good GPA for my pre-reqs. When I applied last time, I had one pre-req that was in progress, which is obviously now completed so I hope your theory is correct! But I honestly dont know how many applicants are wait listed or how many of those reapply and then are accepted. Is this your top choice school?

Me! Did you get an email from them a few days ago? They were asking for fall grades to be submitted but my prereqs are complete. I assume it was a mass email. They did say decisions will be sent out in a couple of weeks!

I just sent in my application to Simmons and will also be applying to UMB for a summer start.

I did get that email! I was confused since I had already submitted all of my transcripts so you might be right that it was a mass email. We are getting so close to decision time!!
