Does Methodist Houston only accept new grads with BSN?

From what I hear, they prefer new grads with BSN but if you "know" someone, you can probably still get a job as an ADN. HTH

Only BSN nurses are hired at Methodist. They even have GPA requirements.

Not according to their website. Where did you get this information?
I worked there this summer and spoke directly to the nurse residency coordinator.

It says "successful completion of an accredited BSN program"

Their residency program requires a minimum of 3.2 GPA, a BSN, and a 950 or better on your exit HESI. Also letters of reference, interviews, etc.

yes, Methodist is a Magnet institution now. 3.2 GPA minimum with BSN.

Methodist will accept ADNs if you get your foot in the door in some capacity prior to graduating, but they are encouraging heavily getting your BSN ASAP.
