Starting a thread for the October 2020 nurse residency at Methodist Dallas. I have applied for some positions and hope to hear something soon!

Oh that is very good to know! I was going to apply bc they had a unit that I was very interested in open but my fiancé is in medical school & we’ll probably have to move for his residency in 2 years so no way I could sign that 3 year contract

oh WOW!! 3 years! heck no. thats crazy. I seen post on here regarding HCA and a lot of people say don't do it. thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much! ? I need other residency options. I’ve been trying to get at the Methodist since February. I’ve graduated and passed boards and still no luck.

So I know this is the wrong trend, but I couldn’t find one. Does anyone know about the Parkland MICU fellowship program? Anyone know if a friend applied ? Any information is Appreciated. Thanks

I interviewed last week for the MICU Fellowship. Haven’t heard anything back and my application status says it’s still in review. Same for you?

Yeahh. I guess we are in the same boat. I was told during the interview to expect a response on the 26th. A friend of mine also interviewed, but nothing yet.

Talked to HR and interviews haven’t started yet for gen surgery or neuro, but everything else has already been done

I went in this week for interviews with their Urology/Gyn floor. I was told we will know tomorrow if offers are being extended. Anybody else on the same boat?
