Mercy University NY ABSN Summer 2021

Hello!

I am starting this thread for those applying to the Summer 2021 ABSN program at Mercy College in the Bronx, NY. I actually was accepted into the program for Spring 2021 cohort, but I had to defer due to medical reasons. I am happy to assist anyone the best way I can through the admissions process as I have gone through it already. Can’t wait to start discussing about this with you all! 

For anyone that is still waiting to hear back, I would say don’t give up hope yet! I emailed --------------------- the other day for an update on the information session and he just got back to me saying they are trying to finish seating the class. So I’m guessing that means they are still sending out acceptance letters!

So for anyone still waiting, --------------------- just returned my call, I left him a vm yesterday. He was very nice and told me that I should hear back within a week if accepted and that my app was submitted to the nursing department and they are working on making final decisions. Keeping my fingers crossed continuously LOL but reaaallly hoping it’s good news ugh??... if not an acceptance he said you’ll hear back either way whether it be waitlisted or not accepted in the upcoming weeks. Considering I submitted my app feb 2nd, one can only expect bad news being that there has been no reply as of yet, but ofc still hope left. So now I’m getting real nervous ? good luck to all and anyone who hears back please keep us updated! ?

I'm hoping that him saying that is good luck because he told me the same thing and the next day I got my acceptance into the program. What's for you is for you. Just try to do things to distract yourself. I prayed for the anxiety to go away and I listened to upbeat music. I also submitted my app in October and got accepted March 12 so I wouldn't focus on when you applied. Hope this helps

Hi! I didn’t get accepted . He did indicate that they are still coming like you just posted about. Hopefully we get in! Praying for all of us ! ?

There is still time ladies in my opinion, classes begin June 2nd.  Anything can happen between now and then, especially if someone gets accepted but doesn't want to come. No news is good news. Just try to prepare yourselves for the program and also start preparing just in case you have to apply to other schools altogether. It's only March 18 and they began accepting people on late Feb early March.

Ladies, I also got email from the school that they are still sending out acceptance letters. Also, when I spoke to Ms. Otheree McEachron a couple of weeks ago she said that we’ll get a response regarding acceptance by the of March or early April 

my anxiety is out of control by now ?

I received the same email, Paul said we should have to wait a week. If not he can send your application for fall. Hopefully, we get in ?.
