Hi guys! Just got accepted to MCHS SP2021 ABSN cohort. Anybody else get in who would like to join? I will be moving from the Bay Area, CA and had a few Q’s regarding licensure from the CA BON. I want to move back to CA after my program ends, and CA BON are hard to get ahold of.. anybody know any info about taking NCLEX in CA? I did my LVN here about 5 years ago and took the NCLEX no problem, just hesitant to move out of state due to any issues with the board.

Hello, did you ever find out an answer? I was accepted into their ABSN program for Summer start and am also planning on moving back to CA after I graduate from the program.

Hi! This is from a 2020 Mercy College of Health Sciences Board. 

CA will not accept this program for licensure by Rec. or by examination. Do not attend this program if you are trying to move back to California.

 

Please check the 2020 posting or with the CA BON in case anything has changed.

I went on linkedin and there are several alumni who completed their BSN from MCHS who currently reside in California. I did that research to ensure that if I were accepted I could move back to California after.
