Hi, I contacted my advisor and she said that the program is technically only approved in Iowa. But, it is a nationally accredited school so I do not really understand. What I think, which I may be wrong, but that the ABSN program may be fairly new so outside states have not had enough students from the program apply for licensure yet to actually put the program on their list of approved programs. Again, I might be wrong but this is the only logical thing that makes sense to me. I can’t imagine that there haven’t been people from California that have completed this program and not returned to California.

Yeah I am not sure, because I was invited to apply to the university itself last week. So it wouldn’t make sense for them to do that if they had already sent out all interview invites! I emailed ----------------------- about this and she said that it is an auto generated email from the admissions office and that there is no need to send in additional transcripts. Also, thank you for sharing your stats! Mine are very similar. I am hopeful for both of us!

Do you mind stating your stats + healthcare experience? I am trying to decide if I should be hopeful or not. Thanks in advance & sorry if you have already stated them, there are a lot of messages in this forum ?

Thank you for the response! That makes me a little more relieved. I figured that they would send out invites to interview after acceptance to the actual school. But hearing that people already interviewed makes me nervous!

Hi everyone! I am glad I found this forum. It looks like some have received interviews and others have not but were invited to apply to Cal state LA? I was invited to apply to the school last week but have not gotten an interview. I sent in my application really early and got the confirmation on 12/31/20. So I am curious how this all works. I would assume I would have gotten an interview already but I was invited to apply so maybe I will still be invited for one? Any insight would be helpful! Congratulations to everyone who received interviews! Btw, my stats are science GPA 4.0 with overall GPA 3.9, 2 years of working as an emergency department medical scribe with some hospital volunteering dispersed throughout the few years prior to Covid.

Hi everyone! I’m so glad I found this forum. I also applied to Linfield ABSN Summer start. I also applied to OHSU but it looks like they have already completed the essay prompt interview questions and are sending out acceptances so I assume I was rejected. My stats are science GPA 4.0, overall GPA 3.91 with a bachelors in Human Biology. I have 2 years of working as an emergency department medical scribe with a couple different hospital volunteer experiences. What healthcare experience does everyone have? I am nervous I am not competitive enough. I am also from California but have family around Oregon and have always loved it there!! So anxious for it to be April 1st. Good luck everyone!!
